Farmhouse Fresh Peels

Contraindications: skin condition must be in good health prior to undergoing any chemical peels. There should be no wounds, recent waxing or any other exfoliation. Peels are not recommended for pregnant or nursing clients, Those prone to keloid scars, or anyone with an active skin condition. Medications:  Clients must stop Accutane six months prior. Retin-A or retinol products should stop use 7 days prior to treatment. Immune system health: Those with autoimmune disorders, uncontrolled diabetes, blood clotting disorders, or recent surgeries should avoid this treatment.

Do's

  • Apply SPF daily, prior to sun exposure.

  • Avoid direct sun exposure whenever possible 

  • Keep skin hydrated with products containing hyaluronic acid.

  • Apply a rich, hydrating moisturizer frequently to reduce dryness and tightness.

  • Avoid active ingredients for one week post peel, such as retinols, glycolic acid, salicylic acid

  • Use a gentle cleanser for five days post treatment. 

Dont's

  • Do not pick or scratch peeling skin, Let it heal naturally.

  • Do not scrub or exfoliate skin until the healing process is complete, 1-2 weeks.
